I've already written it, but haven't submitted it. It tells the journey of me watching and analyzing movies. I begin the essay with my experience of going to see a particular movie and how I became entranced by the on-screen action and technical aspects. Then, I described how I later researched movies and analyzed them, sharing my thoughts. Next, I detailed that when I entered my freshman year of high school, I decided to take the TV and Film Production class. I learned a lot in this class, and faced many struggles, explaining how I overcame them. I talk about how these experiences and opportunities built me as a person (my values); cinema became my teacher. Would you say that this sounds interesting to an admissions officer? Thank you for reading this long paragraph by the way.
The topic sounds engaging. I think it'll be a good read, especially if you start with an engaging intro sentence.
