I'm really not sure, but it depends on your grades, test scores, and essays. To get into a prestigious university, you have to be well-versed in everything -- however, you don't necessarily have to go to a prestigious university. Considering that you live in the United States, you could go to a community college relatively easily. If you want to get into a different sort of university, it shouldn't be too difficult to get into SOME private universities as long as your grades are okay.

A 3.55 Unweighted GPA and 1250 SAT are pretty solid, honestly. It won't get you into any top 50 universities (at least, i think), but that would typically work for other decent schools that will give you a quality education.
