What major should I select based on my ECs?
Answered

Title. 👆

For context, I planned on being an art major with a minor in foreign language. Also, my #1 activity was supposed to be a concept artist for the BBC, which would have gone perfectly with my desired major, but I (quite devastatingly) had to give that job up due to financial problems. Because of this, I'm not sure whether my "application story" still works or if I look more like a writer now.

P.S. feel free to let me know if my descriptions or order arrangement can be improved.

Hello! I just want to start off by saying your ECs do not have to match exactly with what you want to major in. It would probably benefit you a little if for example you wanted to be a vet and had a lot of animal volunteer hours but don't let your ECs pick your major. Pick a major based off of something you like and want to study. Judging from your ECs it looks like you're very into research and volunteer work on very important things (which of course is not a bad thing at all). This does not mean you have to do something within these categories though. I would say to still do the art major and minor in foreign language if that is what YOU truly want to study and learn more about. However, I think you should add any art related activities you've done like taking an art class or being in a show or maybe if you sell art at an art fair, things like that you want to include to show the college that you are interested in art and passionate about it. I hope this helped! Remember pick your major
