I'm adding Key Club as one of my activities and I need help putting it on the common app. How should I write the Position/Leadership description when I'm just a member? Is there a way to make it sound better?
Also, if I combine all of my volunteering activities, it all adds up to 150+ hours. Where would I write that? Additional information section?
I would really appreciate any response to this!
For your Key Club activity, if you're just a member, you could write in the Position/Leadership section that you were an "Active Member" and in the description, highlight your active participation in various community service projects. You do not really need to waste ur characters in your description saying you contributed 150 hrs because (if you do it right), the numbers will add up in the hrs section of the common app. Instead, use those characters to talk about your impact. If you were a founding member, you could put that to make it sound better. For your hours, I'd just put that in the 150 character description Common App give you.

Thank you, and if I'm not a founding member, but just a participating member, what could I write? And under which activity should I write the hours under? 150+ hours is totaled up by combining all of my activities (volunteer hours hosted by Key Club itself was very small, so I don't think putting it under Key Club description would be the best)
