How does the connection thing work on this app?Answered
So I got a connection from the school I was considering, the way they respond to seemed pretty cookie cut, do schools just sent this out to anybody or is it that they have some interest in me based on my profile? I don’t want to get my expectations high

I think it's based on your major, GPA, extracurriculars, demographic, etc.
I got one too. I'm willing to bet that colleges just make an algorithm and then that algorithm tries to connect with people based on their academic profile. It's my best guess, but I don't know for sure.
