Hi,

Iā€™m wondering why I have been admitted to 2 regular decision colleges already (6 acceptances in total so far) ? I thought that I wouldnā€™t or not supposed to hear from those schools until at least the end of February-not that Iā€™m complaining though Iā€™m still waiting for 6 more to hear from. Is it normal for that to happen bc Iā€™ve been told that itā€™s not- itā€™s very confusing just when you thought you knew the process something like this happens šŸ¤”

Is it possible those schools have a rolling admissions policy (first come, first served)?

2 of the colleges were regular decision.

I finished most of my applications in August and September.

Most seniors do not apply until October/Novemberish, so you did apply earlier than a majority. Additionally, the fact that you were accepted is a good sign; the colleges were eager to offer you a spot!
