Community Service
Answered

In my area there isn't many community service events that I can participate in. I also don't have the ability to get to them. I was wondering if that would affect my chances, since I've heard that community service is very important to have.

Universities normally understand your circumstances so if you explain that with the resources you had, you did the best with them.

It's not always the most important thing it is definitely the most common and I think something that won't add to your application. unless you are part of NHS you don't need it to make you a great applicant. If you do higher quality extracurricular activities that's better.

No single part of your application will be the only thing they focus on. If you lack in more area you can make up with it in another. But also consider doing online volunteering if possible for you. The Trevor Project needs volunteers and they will train you as well as you being able to get volunteer hours from home! Climate Cardinals is another cool opportunity for volunteering from home if you happen to be bilingual.
