Aspiring Film Student Resources

I’m currently a sophomore in high school and I’ve always loved anything related to English. Most recently, I’ve become interested in filmmaking, specifically screenwriting. I’d love to study it in college. However, I have no idea where to start pursuing this interest. I’ve started a blog reviewing films, but does anyone have any internship or activity recommendations to help me gain more experience? I plan on making short films in the future, but I’d also like additional activities to showcase my interest and learn more about the film industry before college. Thanks!
