I’m a freshman in high school currently have a 3.7 gpa unweighted.
Hello @Aorta! I am a freshman just like you right now! Right now, the most important things are your Grades/GPA (Which you are doing good right now), AP/Honor classes to boost your GPA, extracurricular activities (Try to start as a member or get a minor officer role in a club), and keep developing your area of interest. I believe that if you are good at this, you are set for high school and ready for college!
Edit: It is also important to build good relationship your teachers, your teachers have the power to write the teacher's recommendation letter which is important, and if you are looking to take AP seminar and AP research, your teachers have some or all of the control of your AP exam grade.
Good luck!
