Hello! I am a high schooler looking toward the future, and I was wondering if my extracurriculars are impressive enough to get into a good college. Specifically, I was wondering about my A Capella involvement. I am a part of my school's A Capella group and am looking at co-ceading the group in the future. Is this an impressive thing to put on college applications? Or is it just as impressive as any other extracurricular?
Thank you!
Hey, Amelia!
I absolutely think that is impressive. Being a good leader, as well as passionate in specific areas, is something that colleges look for in every applicant. I would recommend working really hard with this group if you're looking to truly blow the socks off the admissions workers, for instance, get your club involved in all sorts of inside and outside programs -- take it to the highest possible level!
Good luck!!
