GPA

a weighted 4.11 GPA is a good grade or not? I used your calculate way it turned out 3.26 so it is a so so grade. but a lot school accept weighted GPA. It seems the conversion to 3.26 made my chance to some of the school to minimum. Is your way of conversion is accurate or not?

Thanks,

Nancy

4.11 weighted GPA being good depends on the college you are applying to. It's very easy to double-check an unweighted GPA on a 4.0 Scale. A=4.0, A-=3.7, B+=3.3, B=3.0, B-=2.7, C+=2.3, C=2.0, C-=1.7, D+=1.3, D=1.0. If you took 30 classes, add up the corresponding numerical values to the class, say 98 and then divide by the number of classes 30, so 98/30=3.267

Hope that helps. Also, only add up the class for which you received a grade and skip the classes that you didn't receive one.

You can decide for yourself which GPA to enter if the college of your choice ask you to pick one or the other. Some schools only want the unweighted one on a 4.0 scale.

In terms of evaluating the strength of a 4.11 weighted GPA, it really depends on the context in which it is being evaluated. drive mad For example, if the 4.11 weighted GPA is the result of consistently earning high grades in challenging courses, it could be considered a strong academic achievement. On the other hand, if the 4.11 weighted GPA is the result of earning high grades in less challenging courses, it may not be as impressive.
