Is the Net Price Calculator Accurate?

I'm a current junior applying to college this year, and I think the biggest choosing factor will be mostly financial. I'm also planning on applying to Cornell ED, but my family can't really afford high tuition fees, so I'm not sure if Cornell is worth wasting my ED for. I tried their net price calculator out, and it said I would have to pay about 10k. is the net price calculator reliable and accurate? it would change my decision to apply ED or not.
