Summer Science Program vs Governor's School
Answered

I've applied to both Summer Science Program (SSP) and the Tennessee Governor's School for Science and Engineering (I live in TN). I've already been accepted to Governor's School. I anticipate hearing back from SSP within the next week. IF (recognizing it's a big if) I also get accepted into SSP, which should I attend? Both programs look fantastic. Governor's School fits my summer calendar a bit better, though. Is SSP much more prestigious than Governor's School?

Thanks!

This all stems from what it is you want to accomplish. If it is simply for college applications then most likely go to an SSP, this assuming they are relatively of the same prestige. Also, assuming the SSP is a hands on working environment, and that the school is similar a community college environment, then for normal educational purposes I would do the school since it works for your schedule. However if they are the same environment find out which one has a better education.
