do colleges I applied to get a version of my final transcript?

I was trying to estimate what my potential GPA would be for next year using a GPA calculator, when I suddenly started thinking about this question. if my semester one GPA for senior year was a 3.75 and applying to colleges I had that listed on my transcript but in semester 2 my gpa rides to a 3.8, would that not better my chances of getting into college? But the question is, would it be way too late to send in those stats to selective colleges thst i have already applied to? Another factor is that some schools offer spring admission, so if I wanted to perhaps send in my final senior year transcript, is it better for me to apply for spring admission rather than fall?
