How does karma work?
The system is simple: you receive karma (sort of like a credit) when you help others. If you're short on karma, you can do any of the following to earn more:
- 1 karma for each 👍 upvote on a question you post
- 1 karma for each 👍 upvote on an answer you post
if your answer is marked accepted
- 10 karma for reviewing an essay
- 10 karma if your essay review is rated 5 ⭐️
You can then use your karma to submit an essay for review or guarantee an expert answer on Q&A.
SAT isn’t a scholarship exam, rather it’s the standardized exam that most students take to gain entrance to colleges in the US. What score you earn essentially determines which colleges will accept you (combined with a bunch of other factors). Everyone can register for an SAT exam, not just American students. All you need to do is go to collegeboard.com and make an account, then complete the online registration. You will take the SAT in person so you have to physically go to a location near you to sit and take it. The place could be closed due to the virus so you would have to check. Also, note that you have to pay ~$50 USD to register but if this is a financial stressor you can request a fee waiver to register for free.
**NOTE: you can only register for exam dates THIS YEAR so that includes September 26, October 3, November 7 and maybe December 5 for specific exams. If you’re not a junior yet then wait until the registration opens in the future for you to register.
Edit: I see you’re in grade 10 so you should wait to take the exam either August 2021 or Fall of 2021. Don’t register yet :)
