A certificate or program that is a high school equivalency basically says that you know as much as a typical high school student even though you didn't get a diploma from your high school. You have to take a test usually to get it. The GED is an example of that

What is a high school equivalency on the college application?

A high school equivalency or HSE is a recognized alternative to a high school diploma. There are three common exams used to determine high school equivalency:

The General Educational Development (GED®) test

The High School Equivalency Test (HiSET)

The Test Assessing Secondary Completion (TASC)

Good luck.

According to official sources this "High school equivalency certification includes successfully passing a high school equivalency test, such as the General Educational Development (GED) test, or earning an Adult Basic Education (ABE) certificate if it is equivalent to high school graduation."

This information is very important to me. My son is going to college. He had problems and he did not have time for anything. When asked to write about rosa parks, he used https://gradesfixer.com/free-essay-examples/rosa-parks/ to do so. That's why he has high scores. I have no doubt that he will do it and he will be fine in the future.
