DORM ESSENTIALS.
What are some main room essentials that I should take to a college dorm? Also, if anyone has any other items that they recommend, I would really like to hear!

I recently found a pretty good list at Franklin & Marshall's website. Instead of copy and pasting it; I will simply share the link:

Do note that requirements might differ from college to college. You can always reach out to the housing department of the college of your choice and check if they have a list for you.
My sister is moving into her first dorm this fall and I highly recommend something that will make the room smell better, like a diffuser. Her roommate is getting one.
Also, if you are a coffee/tea drinker, a hot water heater would be beneficial.
Other things my sister is getting: shower curtain, dishes, friend has fridge. Highly recommend checking out Dormify- they specialize in everything for dorms.
