Can anyone guide me on how to pick affordable CCTV solutions for a student apartment in Lahore?

Hey everyone,

I'm currently planning to move into a shared student apartment in Lahore and was thinking of installing a basic CCTV setup for security purposes. With increasing concerns around safety in urban areas, I think it's better to be proactive, especially since we'll be sharing the space with a few other students.

I’ve been looking into the CCTV camera price in Lahore, but it’s honestly a bit overwhelming. There are so many options with different features, and prices vary wildly. I’m hoping to find something that’s affordable for students but still reliable in terms of night vision, motion detection, and mobile access.

After some research, I came across a local service called 786 Surveillance Solution — they seem to offer decent pricing and even help with installation. Has anyone here from Pakistan (or familiar with similar setups) used them or something similar? Would love any insight into how to make sure I’m choosing a good-quality system that won’t break the bank.

Also, are there any red flags or technical specs I should look out for when comparing cameras?

Would really appreciate any advice from fellow students or tech-savvy folks!

Thanks in advance 😊
