RISING SENIORS: How on earth do you manage a balanced schedule??

hi everyone! I am a rising senior in high school. I have over a month before school starts and I have just returned from a 2 week college trip where I toured 11 schools and now that july is rolling around I am cramming in a SAT prep course, finishing up my essay, and now an internship and my part-time job. How on earth do you guys balance out fun without getting burnt out or falling behind in everything you have to do? sobs

Hi Lizza,

I would recomend becoming as organized as you can this year. Create time blocks to do tasks and take lots of breaks. Know what you're doing and when, and know when you're going to stop doing that task. Listen to the boudaries you set for yourself, this is my lifesaver; even if i'm not done with something if it's past the time I made to do that task I'm going to stop and this is so helpful for preventing and combating burnout.

Another thing I would recomend is to do things that you love, when you take breaks, do things you like when you're not working on school stuff, or hang out with friends with you can. That time spent using your brain for completely different reasons will save you.
