Is AP Spanish worth it?

Hello, I am a rising junior (class of 2027).

I gotta finalize my junior year schedule by August 1, but I still haven't made up my mind.

In our school, we take different classes each semester (except for AP, which is yearlong).

In grade 9, I took Spanish 1 &2, and in grade 10, I took Spanish 3&4.

The next level is AP Spanish, and this is the first year of opening the class in our school.

Originally, I was thinking of getting DELE B1 (and possibly B2) certificate instead of taking the AP class, so I registered for AP Stats instead of AP Spanish.

I did take the DELE exam, but the result is not out yet

I'm wondering if AP Stats would be a better choice or if AP Spanish would be better so that I can take 3 years of foreign language in high school.

I am thinking of majoring in bio/stem in college, and I don't have a dream college yet.

I don't know how your school works but for my school, if we took the AP Spanish class and passed the exam, we were awarded the Seal of Biliteracy so a lot of students chose to do that so that they could get the seal at graduation. I think it really depends on what you get at the end. I would go for the AP Stats if it means you get a certificate but if you get something for AP Spanish like the Seal, I would go for that.
