I was homeschooled through high school and the first two years I had severe mental health issues. I only took honors and regular classes and met the grade level requirements because I didn't know if I wanted to go to college. I have 6 dual enrollment courses on my transcript. I am afraid that schools won't take me seriously because I did not take math or science classes at a college level. I'm at a point now where it's too late for me to take PreCalc or Chemistry, so how can I emphasize that I actually worked for my 3.9 GPA, even though most of my STEM classes weren't college level?
Hey, so I don't think you'll get rejected, but having those courses are a huge advantage since math and science are at the core of STEM. It really depends on the courses you have taken before. Not everyone is able to take classes at a college level, yet they still make it far. If possible, I would say probably taking the SAT and ACT and scoring high on those, as they provide another method in which colleges can look at and review students. If they see that you scored really well on those standardized tests then it'll provide a buffer instead of solely relying on the classes you took in high school if you think they aren't reliable enough. If you have taken them, then great! If not, then it's definitely a good idea! Let me know if this helps. Have a great day!

I was able to sign up for second semester physics and chemistry at the college I dual enroll at- and i have a 1400 SAT. So hopefully I have minimized the damage there.
