Currently, I'm in my senior year in HS, and as of writing this post my grades have been completely screwed. I'm taking AP Environmental Science, Lit, Stat, and Calc, and then two really easy classes, but I feel like Calc is too challenging for me and I don't think I can get even a 70% in the class. I switched it to a Pass/Fail course, but even still, I'm not able to pass it because I've had so much homework and been caught up in extracurricular activities.
I already submitted most of my Applications, and im worried that if I were to drop Calc midway of my first semester, I might get rejected, but if I don't drop it then my grades are going to go to waste. What should I do?
(Additionally, I wanted to say that I have 3.85/4.79 UW and Weighted GPA, I've taken 11 Aps, and im going test optional.)
I actually recommend you ease up on the extracurricular, I'm sure you've gained enough experience in them. If the teams are relying on you, it's okay to be a lil selfish and drop em, I believe your education and future matters more.

iI'm in AP Calc AB too, and i was struggling and considered dropping it until I started doing my hw the day after it was assigned and when i dont understand something i go back and watch the notes video, and if i still dont get it i go ask my teacher and she usually explains well! i think w calc specifically you just cant cram like you HAVE to understand it the entire unit bc it builds off other topics we've learned!!
