How to change CollegeVine profile's first name?Answered
I wrote out my first name and my middle name in my CollegeVine profile. I want to change it so that it only shows my first name, but it's greyed out and I can't even click it. What should I do?

So you actually have to email support@collegevine to have it changed. The username has no relation to your name. The main purposes of the name is what you will be addressed by in promotional email and if you use the network feature to connect with admission counselors.

Not sure if this is what you need to change but you could try editing your username(which is different from your first and last name) and that might fix your problem. Hope that helps and if it doesn't you might have to contact customer support to get them to change it for you.
When you go to your profile picture and you click it, you will see profile, and click on profile. Also, In profile, you scroll down and you will be able to change your name.

Just FYI username has no relation to name. For example there is a user who goes by “e” it has no correlation to the name. Refer to my answer for why.
