Do students send their final transcript only to the college that they commit too?Answered
Hi, I am a high school senior and I was wondering how final transcripts are sent out. Are they sent out to the college that a student decides to commit to only on May 1st? I know that this is a dumb question but I just want to make sure that I'm doing everything right.

Hi,
Your counselor will send your college 2 more transcripts this year, your mid-year transcript sometime in February when they are available, and sometime in June after you graduate. This is most typical for all high school students attending college starting this fall. Unless a senior really bombs and gets Ds and Fs final semester, colleges will not rescind your acceptance. If your grades are much lower than usual, they may want a written explanation.
