What are some impressive / prestigious extracurriculars related to psychology, mental health, the brain?
Answered

I really want to boost my extracurriculars, I want to major in psychology on a pre-med track and I'd really like to show my interests through my application/ECs. Are there any specific programs that I could do? Thanks!

I'm kind of involved in mental health stuff, but my friends are more involved. One thing that you can do is to start a club that promotes mental health since, at least in my district, the level of stress is really high. Another thing is to get involved in organizations such as NAMI, Letters to Strangers, etc. You can also do summer programs, but I don't know anything about them and from what I've been hearing, summer programs are kind of a waste of money. It seems that now, it's almost always better to work with a prestigious or well-known organization or get a research position with a college professor.
