Do colleges in the US value AP or IB more? What if my school doesn’t have an IB program?

I would think that both are equally rated since some schools have only AP or IB or even neither. It would be unfair if colleges viewed IB courses as better than AP courses for this reason. That is why they ask for your school profile and stuff so that they know what courses and programs are offered at your school so don't worry. Just take as many AP or IB courses as possible to have a decent competitive schedule (obviously not a schedule with just AP and IB courses unless you can handle that course load and stress)
