11:51@goldenretriever1:hi!! hope you had a great 4th - great to see you. Do you mind sharing if you sent in ALL AP exam scores to Yale? Is it okay to be selective in sending scores :))
23:05@ajax-kris:How does it work if an ap class at some schools is a semester and at other schools is a whole year? For example, my school offers Music Theory and Macroeconomics as semester classes but I know that other schools these are year long classes. Is their a difference in content or are the semester classes faster paced than the yearlong classes?
24:35@goldenretriever1:If im interested in top schools is APUSH a must for ST students
36:08@ajax-kris:(If I remember correctly, ignore this if this isn’t correct :)) I believe that some classes have subscoring, like Calculus and Music Theory. How do these work, if your aware?
47:52@florawang:what's the general recommended number of AP tests/courses over the course of 4 years of high school should one take if they're reaching for top schools? (and if you feel comfortable with sharing, how many did you take in high school?)
49:35@goldenretriever1:i have not gotten the AP scores from May/June exams yet. just curious - if I get a few 3 and 4s, shall I reprioritize school lists ? will AP scores make or break?
55:27@ajax-kris:What is considered doing well in an ap class (grade wise and exam wise)?
57:21@ajax-kris:Also how significant are the remaining ap awards (since most of the big ones were discontinued)?
57:51@TK:How many extracurricular activities were you involved in HS while taking 11 AP courses?
59:32@florawang:Could you talk a bit more about your experience in taking 4+ AP courses in the same school year? (ie how you managed your school work, how to balance it with extracurriculars, etc)
63:07@goldenretriever1:did you take APUSH pal?
66:33@goldenretriever1:unrelated to AP if you dont mind. shall i ask my current camp teacher for college rec letter?
