Admissions Advice

Where do I submit more information to IU Bloomington?

I just got deferred from Indiana University Bloomington. They encourage me to inform them with "new academic information," so I think I will do that. Do I email the office of admissions directly? An admissions counselor? I don't know for sure. I also don't know where I would submit files (I want to submit my R1 grades since I am —so far— doing well this semester). I looked on their website, but I couldn't find it. Help would be appreciated, thank you!

Hi there! Do not feel discouraged now that you have gotten deferred. That is still a very good sign. I think that you should demonstrate interest and edit/tweak your essay and application (if given the opportunity) If you are truly passionate about attending this college, then reach out to an admissions officer and schedule and interview. You can also reach out to a current professor, who may be align to your faculty of interest. The key here is to not loose hope and DEMONSTRATE YOUR DEEP INTEREST.
