4.0 Unweighted, 5.0 Weighted

But keep in mind, Collegevine requests that you add unweighted to your profile.

Hello!

In most scenarios of calculating your GPA, your unweighted GPA (without the GPA boost of AP classes, honors, etc.) would be out of a 4.0. Your weighted GPA (with GPA boost from AP classes, honors, etc.) would be out of a 5.0. Collegevine asks for your unweighted GPA in the chances calculator, so it would be on a 4.0 scale.

Some high schools, however, calculate a student's weighted GPA on a 6.0 scale, so things can get quite weird when converting. Still, normally a 6.0 scale is not used - at least from a college standpoint.

Hope this helps!
