Honors program UMN Twin cities
Answered

I want to try to get into the honors program at the UMN twin cities when I apply, (I'm a Sophomore now). What does it take to get into the honors program at UMN twin cities (GPA, ACT/SAT score, ECs)? I have a 3.74 GPA, and I plan on taking 5 APs total and 2 CIS/PSEO classes by graduation. I also plan on going into medicine. Thanks!

I don't know about their specific requirements, but honors programs usually take students who are well above the average of the student body as a whole. Aim to score in the 75th percentile or higher of accepted students to UMN Twin Cities. 5 APs and 2 CIS/PSEO (I assume those are dual-enrollment?) sound pretty good. You will probably also have to write an additional essay. Best of luck!
