Should I send in a Letter of Continued Interest?
Answered

I got waitlisted at Purdue and it is my dream school. Should I send in a letter of continued interest even though the school hasn't indicated that we are required to send one. Thanks for taking out your time to answer this question.

Most definitely yes. If you are really interested, you should not be waiting for them to require things to be sending them in. Colleges often say things are "not required"; nevertheless, they are frequently "highly recommended". Send in a (detailed) letter of continued interest citing specific reasons for your interest, and if you have anything to add to your application/resume, let them know as soon as possible. This is your dream school; while you don't want to hound the admissions office, be proactive about potentially claiming a spot.

Definitely! If Purdue is your dream school, you should do everything that you can to get in! Even if a letter if continued interest is not 'required' you should certainly take the time to create one and send it in. If anything, it will show them the dedication and interest that you still have for this school. (Remember, this letter cannot hurt you, it will only help ;)! Good luck!)
