what extracurriculars should i do ? Answered
I want to go to Barnard College but I feel like my extracurriculars are lacking?
Earn karma by helping others:
I believe that having a variety of extracurriculars is a plus! For example, play a sport that you enjoy, play an instrument/sing, join a couple of clubs, volunteer/tutor, etc. Having a variety of extracurriculars shows the admissions officers that you are well-balanced. Not only having a variety of extracurriculars is helpful, but you can also choose activities that relate to your desired major at Barnard College. If it is business, choose a club like DECA or HOSA for health sciences. Hope this helps!
Depends on what you want to study, but also just depends on you as a person. Do an extracurricular you want to do. Don't try to stuff yourself into roles and groups you really have no interest in being part of just for the sake of looking good. There's not really a "right answer" for extracurriculars; pick something you can stick with and that you have passion for, and the rest will flow naturally when it comes time to apply :)
