Admissions Advice

Should I take IB or AP if I want to get into MIT, for a C.S Major?

Should I take IB or AP if I want to get into MIT, for a C.S Major? I'm really confused as I like IB's philosophy, but a lot of courses ( likes history ) are required and it has NOTHING to do with C.S.

What do you think will be more useful? What would be the pros and cons of each one of them? Thanks! :)

I think taking AP Courses would be more helpful, because it gives you an introduction to college courses and also you could earn a college credit if you take the AP exam at the end of the course! Also, there are many AP courses out there, you could take AP computer science principle, AP computer science A, etc. You could also take some science courses. I don't know much about IB courses

Hope this helps :)
