It depends if its weighted, for unweighted it only goes to four so the closer to it the better. Most weighted GPAs go to five but it really depends per school.

I would say that is great. Same I'm a sophomore. I have a GPA of 3.2. Which means I am passing. As long as you have enough credits in all your classes. You will pass to the next grade.
