Taking the SAT the second time
Answered

I haven't taken the SAT yet but I just wanted to know that if I didn't like the score that I got and retook the test and got a LOWER score the second time would I just use my 1st initial score or my 2nd lower score on college applications?

Hi! No matter how many times you take the SAT, you will always use the highest score you got on college applications. So in this case, you would just use the first one. There's also something called superscoring, which means that you can take the score you got on the reading/writing section of the first test and add it to the score you got on the math section of the second test, or vice versa, in order to achieve a higher score. Hope this helps!
