What are some tips for volunteer and extracurricular hours
Answered

Generally, my stats are good academically but my main problem is that I have no tangible volunteer hours since there aren't a lot of places where I live and COVID. Also, my extracurriculars seem weak compared to others and I don't know how to improve them

So this is really depends on your grade, because if you have at least 2 years before apps, or even a year, you can always start a club, join one, or pick up a sport or instrument.

When it comes to hours, see if you can offer free tutoring to middle schoolers (just reach out to your middle school principal or teacher and go from there), you can organize a sale or donation, if your school has an NHS chapter or service club look into that. Or you can look for things like FMSC or Tango Tab who may still be operating during covid, or opportunities by your city. You want hours, but they should be meaningful!
