chance simulator

When using the chance simulator. I have noticed depending on the college your high SAT score can outweigh your poor GPA. Some collages become safety schools even having a .6 lower GPA then average but your SAT is higher than the average. Is this accurate because I tried it on multiply colleges and some become safety schools and others don't.

I think it depends on the college. Certain colleges tend to look for different things. For example, some schools may want people with more extracurriculares and care less about their test scores. While other schools may prefer people with less extracurriculares and higher test scores. When doing the chance simulator you should be able to see what the average acceptance of the particular thing is and that should help you out.
