Application Confusion!

Hey, I'm an international student, so do excuse me for my silly question.

If I need to go to college in Fall 2022, then my applications will open this year in August. My deadlines will run from the November of this year to February of next year. Am I correct?

It would be great if someone could clarify this, thank you so much!

Hi! This is not a silly question at all. Applications open August 1, 2021 for most colleges. Early decision applications are due in the beginning of November 2021(for some colleges it's the 1st of November, but other colleges have different dates). But general admissions' application are due early January 2022.

Yes!! Keep in mind that although there are general dates, some colleges have an earlier or later deadline than others. Like Bowdoin College has an early decision deadline of November 15, but Barnard College's deadline is November 1. The same goes for general admissions.
