college apps.
i may sound like an idiot but i don’t even know where to start! the person in charge of college apps and everything at my high school is not the nicest to average students like myself. therefore i have been very hesitant to go to her. when do i even start applying (i’m ending my junior year) ? what do i do first? how do i apply? this may be a lot but if anyone has ANY helpful answers it would be appreciated.

You start applying in Fall but deadlines depend on each college and it depends if you are applying Early decision or Regular decision. You an apply through the common app or each school separate application. What I would recommend doing during summer is to write your college essay, create a college list and maybe asking 2-3 teachers for recommendation letters. Hope this helps :)

you need a school list. CV gives good estimates of your chances so you can see if the school is a target, reach, or safety. Aim for at least 2-3 targets and 2 safety schools.

You apply fall of senior year either through the schools own app thing or through the common app, coalition (I think), and this other one I forgot depending what apps the schools accept.
