What summer programs, ECs, or sports are you planning on doing this summer? I wanted to get some ideas :) Thank you!
That's sounds so cool! Where did you apply for the internship?
The campaign I just cold emailed. The state boards I joined the org then ran for the positions. I worked on the mayors campaign so I had a shoe in already. Whenever applying for a policy internship keep in mind that everyone wants to do policy so its good to do some campaign work first.

This summer I will be working as an intern for MSK, doing research at York College, attending the NYU STEP pre-college program, and working a retail job on the weekends. I'm going into the pre-med track and a rising senior so I had to make the best out of this summer

- Trap shooting/shooting practice
- Summer dual-enrollment classes
- Police Explorer program or police internship
- Possible political internship
- Community service
- Police Academy training for '25 Academy
- Learning some new languages
- Track & Field thrower/jumper/runner conditioning
- Cliff jumping (more like high-ledge jumping lol)
I dunno, try looking for cool opportunities or experiences!

I am poli sci focused so idk if this will help. I am gonna have a paid internship for my local mayor (city of ~200k), intern on a state senate campaign (sep 22 runoff election), and continue working on some other state level boards I chair/am a part of.
