uc santa Cruz

CollegeVine says that UC Santa Cruz is a safety school for me, but I only have a 4.0, with 5 AP's, 3 honors classes and very few extra curricular activities. Is this accurate?

Hi there @natagirl,

UC Santa Cruz has an acceptance rate of around 65%, so it's very plausible that it is a safety school for you, especially if you live in California.

You can also calculate your UC GPA at this site to get a better idea of how the college will calculate your GPA: https://admission.universityofcalifornia.edu/admission-requirements/freshman-requirements/gpa-requirement.html

Hope this helps!
