Admissions Advice

International student
Answered

I am an international student. We graduate in July and take our final exams in March/April. A lot of the schools I'm considering have their deadlines as Nov 1 or Jan 5. I won't even have taken mock exams by then. Should I still apply?

You should definitely apply!

You might not have our final exam results, but you'll have records of your previous years. You could also request your school's counsellor to submit an estimated score. Schools are used to applicants from various countries, so go ahead, and like @jwilhoit90 mentioned you can always explain in the addition section about your situation.

Hope this helps (:

What i would say is that whatever database you are applying through, in the additional information section list your current situation and why you haven't been able to meet a certain deadline, they will be more understanding. If that does not work send the school a direct email or call them and then you go from there.
