If you are applying to Medical School, the school itself doesn't care if you have completed your undergraduate degree in 3, 4, or 5 years, they just want you to complete it. So it's up to you to do your pre-med foundational work at any college of your choice and you don't have to have a particular major to apply to college either. They are rather agnostic about which majors to admit.

One thing to keep in mind is that at the top Medical schools, some successful admit have done a gap year to work in the hospital or do research to fortify their application. There is no prerequisite to do this but sometimes a younger applicant can improve their odds if they don't appear to rush their coursework and are "too green behind the ears" so to speak.

Alternatively, you can apply to various BS/MD programs and perhaps take a year off your total coursework in the process. Besides the benefit of time, you don't have to apply with a 520 MCAT score to get into these programs as a high school student. They have either eliminated this or just waive this for BS/MD students.

Good Luck.
