How to write my ECs?
Answered

I have made dozens of programs for last 2 years. I want to write this in Common App "Activities." Do I have to combine all of programmings into just one activity and describe "made a lot of programs" or write them separately? I'll submit a portfolio with all programs I've made to the univ.

I spent various times for different programs, from some hours per week to 40+ hours per week.

Hi! If you're submitting a separate profile, I wouldn't worry about going into too much detail on your Common App. I would put everything under one activity, and then describe as you said. As long as you have other activities to also add under your ECs. What I mean is, if all you've done is programming, then maybe try to break it up so that not exactly every single program is separate, but so it looks like you have more than one EC. But if you have other outside ECs from this, then I would just put all of the programming together under one activity. I hope this helps, good luck!! :)
