Hi!
I've been exploring NYU Shanghai's opportunities and I can't really find information I need.
So. I know that it DOES give some financial aid to international students, but it doesn't say anything about FULL financial aid that covers full tuition and accomodation.
Everyone I know says that only NYU Abu-Dabi gives full financial aid to interantional students, is it true.
So does NYU Shanghai gives FULL financial aid?
None of the NYU campuses is need-blind for International students. They are a need-aware school so your financial ability to pay will be taken into consideration regardless of which campus you apply to.
NYU Abu Dhabi is more generous when it comes to financial aid but keep in mind that the admit rate is between 3 and 4% versus 12.8% for the NYC campus. This tells me that they spend a lot of effort shaping their incoming class just like Harvard or Stanford and can pick who they want that is a good fit for them. They are most likely better endowed to give out financial aid awards.
Some may find it exciting to be in S.W.A.N.A. country but it seems like a cultural and food desert unless you are interested in the local fare and language.
Good luck.

Thank you for your answer. I know that they are need-aware, but is it POSSIBLE to get full financial aid in NYU Shanghai?
