What do you think my chances are of getting into Northwestern?
Answered

Hi, I am a senior in high school. I have decided to ED to Northwestern because it is by far my favorite school. I have a 3.91 unweighted GPA, and a 4.62 weighted GPA with around 10 AP and 8 Honors classes. I also have good extracurriculars which show leadership, and wrote a pretty good "Why Northwestern" essay. When I visited the school I met the President of the Northwestern Hillel and he said he would put in a supplemental note for my candidacy. I also had an interview for Northwestern. Given this info, how well do you think my chances are?

I agree, please refer to the chancing engine for seeing your chances. Applying ED typically will give you a multiplier boost in admissions, around a 1.1-1.15x increase in chances. Read more about this multiplier effect here!

There's a chancing section in CollegeVine, just use that. These communities are not for "chance-me".

I don't think there is much for CV members to weigh in here since its a chancing question and they are not allowed on the blog posts. I would defer to filling out a College Vine profile and running it through the chancing engine to see what your % percentile number is to get in.

Good luck.
