If you are talking about it chronologically, you should submit it before the deadline, however if you are talking about what score, CollegeVine advises that you only send scores that are at least 60 points below the 25th percentile

You submit your SAT or ACT score from CollegeBoard or ACT.org directly to your school using the College Code given. So if you are applying to USC, the SAT code is 4852 and for the ACT it is 480.

Do not submit your SAT is it is within 60 points of the lower 25% SAT range. So if the range is 1450-1560 and you have a 1390, do not do that. That was a suggestion last year not this year.

As it turns out, SAT and ACT scores went up not down because 1/2-3/4 of the applicants still submitted test scores and they had stronger test scores for the Class of 2025 than for the Class of 2024 cycle. It was a mistake to submit a 60 pt lower test score and so far I have not heard anyone at CollegeVine acknowledge that while the intentions were good, they led a quite a lot of people down the incorrect path with their SAT/ACT submission advice last cycle.

If they still have some content up that still suggest that, it is outdated and should not be followed and be taken down.

Good luck.
