what are the student really is in top US colleges

Everyone asks about what type of student do colleges want especially the top ones in the US, but what are the student really is so I can know who I'm competing with? It's will be perfect if you talk about MIT and universities like it

I want a real example like this:

John doe: have 1590 SAT, with 3.99 GPA, 24 extracurricular activities, and he get accepted in Harvard, Maryland park

Muhammad Ali: full ACT score, with 4 GPA, 18 extracurricular activities, and he get accepted into Princeton and MIT

If you can't give me an example how can I get in touch with those who won these universities?

@eymen, no one on the planet can give you the answer you are looking for. It doesn't exist.

The best suggestion would be to spend more free time watching CollegeVine videos and reading blog posts about how to prepare for specific schools. Again, these are not guaranteed instructions but guidelines for filing out your application and they are intended to give 9th and 10th graders a head start so they know what to expect at each college they apply to.

Just because Harvard and MIT are the 2 hardest schools to get into doesn't mean that if you are smart you are going to get into both of them. You might be lucky to get in to 1 or none of them even if you have perfect grades and test scores and ECs. But someone might be admitted to Harvard simply because their parents went there or they play a key position on their Varsity Lacrosse team, or their parents donated $5 million dollars or their mom is a tenured professor. Or you might get a break because you are Black, Hispanic, Indigenous, Trans, Disabled, Marginalized, Low Income.

There have been admits to Harvard that have 3.5 GPA and 1300 SAT scores but they might be recruited athletes. Or someone from the South Bronx, NY, who is Black and very active in his community might get in with a 3.7 and 29 ACT, you just never know. And someone who is an Asian female with a 4.0, 1580 SAT, 12 APs, 10 impressive ECs, who is not applying for financial aid, might be considered a "dime a dozen" candidate and the first to be "cut". The Admission reader might think that MIT is a better fit for her and vice versa down the block and hope that she applied there as well.

It's very confusing if you just watch Youtube and try to figure out who gets in and who doesn't. It's clear that the Asians that do get in are clearly in a league of their own. They have the highest stats, grades, APs scores, and impressive ECs and research internships.

I would be extremely surprised if someone attempted to answer your question in the format you requested.

There is no set student that a college looks for, so this is a question that no one can really answer. However there are certain traits, and a range of subjects the might suggest. The best way to know such things would be to go to the colleges website. You can also find the SAT and ACT statistics of the students who were accepted. Do keep in mind that more extracurricular activities do not mean a higher possibility of acceptance, for example on the MIT application you can only write a maximum of five, because the purpose of that question is to know what is important to you not how much you can do.
