Hello!
So last year I took AP Macro with Johns Hopkins CTY and I got an A-. I want to major in econ and I got a 5 on the AP Macro exam, but would sending the A- to colleges lower my chances of acceptance? My dream schools are Princeton (24%), UPenn (25%), Dartmouth (28%), and UVA (54%+Legacy)
Thanks so much!
I would say that the fact that you opted in to an AP course with Johns Hopkins CTY of your own accord speaks to your determination and drive. I would certainly include the grade! No applicant is the perfect applicant, and one A- will not significantly dint your chances, provided you have strong extracurriculars and essays. I hope that helps!
I can't really tell if you're serious or not
But no, an A minus will not lower your chances. An A minus is a perfectly fine grade to get.

I know, an A- for an AP class (really any class) is really good, I do not see where the problem is here.
