Any advice for high schoolers who want to major in biomedical engineering for college?Answered
Are there any extracurriculars recommendations? Any clubs to start at school or join? Any internships in BME available for high school students?

I personally don’t know a lot about STEM majors but the best extracurricular for any type of science are Science olympiad and Science Research/Fair. they are hands down the best ones for science because you will get a lot of competing experience, you can win awards and cash prizes in SR, and Sci Oly is a very prestigious team activity. In sci research which may also be a class at your school you can undertake any type of scientific research project so there you can do something specific towards BME. Also you should take several high level honors or AP science courses if possible, in addition to subject tests in Bio and probably also Chem
Thank you!
Focus on your scientific and mathematical aspects of your academics I’m talkings 97 - 99 course final averages. Also show those teachers your interest So they can say how interested you are on your teacher recommendations. And with extracurriculars science or math Olympiad, robotics and medic based clubs.
Thanks!

Do some biology and neuroscience/STEM courses on coursera! Ivy league taught and completely free! You could also contact a local college professor in ur area and do some research
